Safe and sound

Operation Surprise Carly = fail
Safe arrival = success

As some of you may know, the cyst on my sacrum/coccyx was infected (pretty badly) this week, and the travel day (as follows) was really challenging:

7:00am - 1:00pm involved everything from waking up to catching my plane
the plain was 8 hours, and I was stuck in Ottawa for about 5 hours, and then my plane was 5 hours as well. All that sitting was quite painful, but AIR CANADA IS AMAZING! I showed them my doctors note, and I told them I was in pain, so for both flights (FRA - YOW, and YOW - YVR) they arranged it so that I had a window seat and the seat next to me was empty to give me more wiggle room. Wow, they were just so kind, and as usual the Kosher meal was really yummy :)


Just an FYI that I went to the doctor today and I got a referral to a surgeon, yay.


In other news, I just reactivated my phone, and my cell is the same number as before. 


If I don't answer, don't be offended! I have to finish my paper by Sunday... Back to work Jessica!
